The maximum quantity is dependant on the available unlocked collateral in the liquidity pool. To determine this we use an algorithm which calculates the expected maximum win to 99% probability and lock this when you execute a trade. This 'win-as-risk' calculation determines the position size limit (maximum quantity allowed.) Your win is not limited to this locked collateral however, it is only used for setting position size limits.
